The Name:
We are often asked "Why the name 'Fisher's Tale'?" The name says what we're about: proclaiming the Gospel of
Jesus Christ from the Word of God, just as the fishermen disciples did in Israel at the time of Jesus' ministry. The
reason for the band's name is summed up in the title of the first album: "Why didn't you tell me..." the Fisher's Tale?

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mar 16:15

Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's
foundation. Rom 15:20

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of
