The Name:
We are often asked "Why the name 'Fisher's Tale'?" The name says what we're about: proclaiming the Gospel of
Jesus Christ from the Word of God, just as the fishermen disciples did in Israel at the time of Jesus' ministry. The
reason for the band's name is summed up in the title of the first album: "Why didn't you tell me..." the Fisher's Tale?

And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation". Mar 16:15 (ESV)

And thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on
someone else's foundation. Rom 15:20 (ESV)
